Description

This is the first boulder seen when hiking in from the Headwaters area.This rock hosts excellent lines ranging from 5.7-V5+? with potential for new problems. The namesake of this rock is an excellent highball/toprope V2/5.11 over water which delicately climbs cobbles and incuts.

does anybody know the climb on the arete to the right of lodestone?

I climbed it from a stand start. looks like a strenuous sit could be/has been had. it's a cool problem, just don't fall.

i got the sit for that starting matched on the shelf. I'm guessing its a V5?

I tried it left hand on the shelf and right hand and a crimp, felt around v5 or v6 to me. Maybe a solid 5
