Description
This is a relatively new area that hasn't seen much development but holds a bit of promise for those with initiative and imagination. The area is roughly an hour north of SLO on CA-1. Past Hearst castle, when the CA-1 begins to wind up and down the mountainsides, you will see clearly on the right side of a bend a large turn out, hiking signs, and possibly the waterfall. Take the creek up if you want to see the plethora of boulders, be cautious of poison oak though. Many boulders here are highball and clean, but somewhat blank-there is potential for hard routes. Also, the boulder above the waterfall has 3 EXCELLENT HIGHBALL LINES. Only one of which i got to tick.Latest Photos
