Description
Originally put up by Kevin Daniels some 14 years back, then rediscovered by Rob Mulligan. Starts at a pair of finger slots, crank the overhang on left-leaning crimps and rails, then bomb to a grainy jug flake. Roughly 24 ft tall.Spotters and pads would be wise given the huge platform boulder behind you and the dead tree laying next to it. The dual crux plus a mental crux reminiscent of White Rastafarian make this an instant classic and a sweet addition to JTree highballs.

| kshutt Apr 3, 2011 | This is definitely a classic. But it felt way harder than v5 to me |
| rtm Apr 4, 2011 | He doesn't know what he's talking about. v8 was proposed for the FA |
| Heretic Apr 4, 2011 | Dang! rTm lays the smackdown on your candy @$$!!! I spoke to Kevin last week or so about the problem. He said V5/6 sounded about right. V8 you say? I tried the first crux, which I thought was hard. The next one is just SCARY. We definitely needed more pads and spotters for that one =^( |
| kshutt Apr 4, 2011 | I havent done it yet but it felt to be about an 8 or 9. Unless Im completely missing something.... |
| rtm Apr 4, 2011 | I was referring to you HeretiK. hehe. KD's yanking your chain homie!! |
| Heretic Apr 4, 2011 | @rtm - I know, I could feel the backhand smackin' me upside the head! As for the grade...Is it that deadpoint (or as scary as it would be, a full-on dyno) to that high pocket that makes it a V8? |
| kshutt Apr 5, 2011 | For me matching on the rail and doing the huge move off the rail were the two crux moves |
