Description
The Barker Dam Loop Trail is one of the most popular destinations in the park, for tourists and climbers alike. The area contains an intermitten lake, as well as mining and Native American sites. The area also contains one of the most popular and well trodden pieces of rock in Joshua Tree - Gunsmoke. Another bouldering spot of interest here is Alisters Cave, located high on a dome of rock, this cave contains some of the steepest bouldering in JTree.
