like i said, doesnt work great on metallics, but the standard colors came off great.

acetone might be better for metallics if used sparingly. it evaporates quick so isnt as much of a hazard to use outside... just vapor basically.

theres an non toxic spraypaint remover that you can buy from lowes or home depot. its in a spray bottle for 8 bucks. sprayed it liberally on the paint, wait a few minutes till it starts to peel up and scraped it off with wire brushes. leaves it slightly stained still, and doesnt work well on metallic colors, but definitely brought the rock back.

We got all the paint off the ar?te as well as out of the crack, and some of the more critical footholds. Also removed all of the paint from the slab beneath shothole. Will probably go back an clean the rest off in a couple weeks before an evening session.
